When results for each of the 15 areas
of questioning within the Design Atlas framework have been
collated on the Design Atlas results sheet, attention can
be turned to making recommendations for change.
If a business wants to improve its capability
in any area of activity there are a variety of different
routes that can be followed for implementing new thinking.
For example, a business could invest in training, new policies
and procedures, new staff with relevant skills profiles,
etc. The most appropriate route will always be dictated
by individual circumstances.
Examples of recommendations for design
capability development that can be made for an organisation
are described in Part 3 of this guide entitled: Responding
to Design Atlas findings.
